Very Nice!! Congrats and Welcome.
Thanks everyone. Very impressed with it so far. It seems loud acoustically, and I have been able to get a pretty good range of sounds out of the pickups.
I think the Peruvian neck really contributes to that, along with the ebony board. Mine rings out acoustically, too. It's a very lively instrument with a lot of sparkle, but it can also rock out with the best of 'em. Great guitars.
Rumor has it that there were private stock "tweaks" applied to these during the build. I don't know if that's true, but it sure feels like it.
I had an ME II previously, and I really wanted to bond with it. Something did not feel "right" about it.
The A V is completely different. This one feels and sounds like home.
I'm curious about any tweaks that might have been done to them. Anyone have any ideas about them?
I wasn't able to find out specifics in answer to either question, and it's entirely possible that it was just a rumor on another (now-defunct) forum.
However, I've owned a good number of PRSes over the years, and my Artist V has a unique feel and vibe that is addicting to play. So there's that...
