RIP, brother.
By pure coincidence I was talking about the Toler-era ABB albums with new friend last night, and I put on the Reach for the Sky album before signing on to the forum to find this news. Eerie...

I talked with Dan for a bit at the 1st Exp. Seemed to be a really humble, down to earth kind of guy. Prolly cause he was from Indiana!
Sad to hear this news.........
Fanboy of the Jester (AKA) James (Previously known as 11top)
RIP - only ever saw him at the first Experience, but he seemed like a cool guy. Always hoped he'd come back for another go-round.

I saw Dan in'88 when he was with Gregg Allman and was blown away. It was good to finally talk to him at the Experience. Too bad he didn't go to any of the other Experience events.
