Best pen to use for PRSH to sign with

So I plan on meeting Mr. Smith this Saturday at the Guitar Center in Natick, MA. He's coming to do some training with the staff and then hang to meet customers and such. I also plan on bringing my newly acquired Custom 22, and having him sign it. I was thinking that gold color they use, on the back of the headstock.

So the questions I have, are what's the best type of pen to use? Which one do they use? And also, I obviously don't plan on re-clear coating the headstock, so can I expect it to stay there? Will it just naturally come off with time? The other alternative I suppose is signing the backplate, and having that cleared. I feel it would be much more personal on the guitar itself.

Anyone have thoughts or opinions? Thanks.

And Yes... it will come off eventually. Maybe try a paint pen?

I don't think PRSH ever leaves the house without a few of those pens in his pocket...
