    Starlas
    57/08
    53/10

and I actually really like the Archtops in my HB12 but never liked 'em so much in the old HB 6-strings... for some reason they "just work" with the 12 string which I guess is why PRS keep 'em in there.
PS Starla (burnt orange smokeburst), Starla (vintage cherry, IRW neck, birds), HBII (faded gray black 'double' 10-top), HB12 (black gold), NF3 (antique white/birds), 25th ann. Mira 245 (frost blue metallic), KL1812, 2011 'Stripped' 58 (goldtop)

Narrow 408s from my Paul's guitar, particularly the bridge pup!!!
It just sings through whatever amp I run through...
    53/10s are a close 2nd.

For me it's the McCartys, then the P90s.
I wonder if anyone will show any love for the Archtops

I have a 2000 McCarty and have tried other pickups in that guitar but have the original McCarty pickups back in there, I think those pickups sound great... very fat tone and just the right amount of output.

1st as of right now is the \m/ pickups, very versatile and articulate not just a metal pickup for sure. 408's would be second and then 53/10's. I have a set of 59/09 but just haven't decided what to put them in

57/08s and Dragon 2s. Dig them equally.

5909's mostly. It really depends on the guitar though. I put a Mira treble in my SC artist pack and it might be the best sounding guitar I have. Having a hard time playing anything else in rehearsals. I like the \m/ treble in my McCarty standard a lot too.

Has anyone had a chance to compare the \M/ pups side by side with a Tremonti and/or 57/08's? I'm getting ready to send one of my babies to the PTC for a few minor enhancements and I've not heard much feedback on the \M/ pup.

I have the \m/'s in my PS and 57/08 in my stripper so its hard to compare because of different body and woods. I will say I'm not a big fan of the 57/08's because they seem a little thin to me but \m/'s I like a lot because they sound more full or rounded( not rounded like a 53/10) but still have a good punch. They are great for heavy stuff and palm muting but very clear and articulate even when clean. I am very surprised how good they sound when tapped also.

+1. I had a set of DGTs that originally went in my baritone, they were terrible in that instrument. In my CU22 they sound like they sound like the sweet chorus of a thousand beautiful and well trained female singers who also want to do me.

I had a Mira, didn't like the stock neck pickup at all. I sold the guitar, regretted it and bought another Mira a couple years later. The stock neck pickup in the 2nd Mira is one of the best neck humbucker tones I've gotten from any guitar. Same model pickup, same model of guitar, totally different tones (and it'd not like I don't adjust the height and all that).

I have to say that the \m/ pickups are the best in my opinion. Was trying to decide between 2 different guitars I wanted to put a set in. Ended up loving them so much I put a set in both.

I asked Matt in the PTC if anyone has tried the \m/ in a Tremonti, and he said they've had good feedback about that. Not that I'm ready to make that switch, but it's in the back of my mind.

57/08 all the way. Better for me than the 53/10. I prefer my amps to be clean and use higher output (slightly) pickup and pedals for distortion for a nice classic rock tone. Might try the 59/09s someday.

I'd try the Metal pickups but since I play a lot of lower gain classic rock I wonder if it'd be too much.

I have 53/10's on my P22 and I love them, The 408 pickups on my friends Siggy are amazing too., Now just to decide what to put in my SE Semi Hollow 59/09's or Dragon II's.
