As I mentioned on TGP, you could "out" them for the whole ugly truth (with hard evidence to back your claim) and there will still be guys lined up to give them money. So why bother getting in the mud?

Well, I must say that it's the only time I've ever had a builder keep my deposit and end all communications with me. But hey, it's only been 4 years, maybe he'll decide in another 4 to return my deposit!
Or maybe the poor guy decided he needed to finally buy a really good guitar like a PRS and was strapped for cash?
Or maybe the guy simply has no conscience?
