Well I am thinking of modding my boys 2012 se singelcut withthe HFS/Vintage pcikup combo and the USA drop in 3way with push/pull. This should be a pretty straight forward mod right? And what does anyone think the tone would be like over stock.

I'm sure it's going to sound great! I love the HFS.
Yeah, it certainly wouldn't sound worse! It should be about as straightforward as they come as far as modifications.

or would a set of Tremonti Pick ups be more versatile? I like the idea of powerful more modern pcikups but also like some versatility. either way would go with the 3 way toggle w/push- pull electronics.
