I went through a phase where I thought the Blues Deluxe wasn't adequate for gigs, so I went bigger and bigger, but now I think the bigger amps are overkill for most applications.

There's one sitting in my dining room beside a Mark III. I have a feeling yuo would quite like channel 3.
You and I have VERY similar tastes in amps, TAJ! I had a first year Tremoverb that was my main studio amp for about ten years, until my son started "borrowing" it, and he gigged it until he was well into college.I currently have two amps:

I've also had several Two-Rocks that were wonderful amps - Onyxes and CRS v. 2 and 3. Had a bunch of other amps, but the two you have were my absolute faves for a long time.
If you like those amps, I think you'll also dig the HX/DA. It's got character and a "wow" factor like the T-verb and TR, but in a different direction. It'd nicely compliment your other rigs.

Seriously, I love the tones I can dial in. Here's why:
Cleans? Stellar enough that I recorded a rockabilly track with it last month with a little slapback delay. Clear as a Twin.
In December, I got it gainy enough for the Ford F-150 campaign that runs constantly.
I just finished an alt-rock track with it kind of crunchy for a GM car ad, and a pop track getting that "edge of grit" thing for another client.
Used it with the SC58 to get kind of an Allman solo tone for a track my partner wrote for an industrial video.
And all the tones were exactly what I needed, sounded great, and sat in the mixes perfectly. If I had another amp, even a very good one, it would sit unused. What I should do is buy a backup of this one.
