For me, it's the same as with acoustic guitars...every time I have the money for an amp (or acoustic), I buy another electric guitar.

    My four

Koch Twintone II, very nicely made in the Netherlands, replaced a Mesa Nomad 45 with it because it was better in every respect. Apparently a certain Mr PRS is listed as friend/user of the brand. Fender Pro Junior, because I don't like amps without reverb, a full tone stack or with 10" speakers, but I use this more than anything else! Ibanez Troubadour T20 acoustic amp for putting half of my Parkers output through. Roland Microcube RX, used mostly on batteries for testing after modding/fiddling, 'quiet' practice, and running my iPod.

docbennet, where does one get those front panals?

I have 3, Marshall 2553 silver jubilee 25/50 watt with two matching 2x12 cabinets (Marshall 4x10 cabinets but with 2x12's), PRS 2 Ch H 50 watt (In need of one of those fancy front panals) and a Genz Benz 30 watt acoustic amp.

Your dealer can order them for you from the PRS custom shop. These came right from the factory, and were part of the deal when I bought the amps. They were "created" after the amps were delivered, and I just never installed them.

I am now down to one amp and an Eleven Rack (used mostly for recording).
The amp is a, small but loud, Laney LC15R (15W 2 x EL84 and 3 x 12AX7) but is now housed in a 2x12" combo cab with 2 Celestion 25W Greenbacks, originally built for a Matchless clone.
Here it is next to its original 1x10" housing:
1992 PRS Cu24 Tortoise Shell, "10",Birds, Reg Neck
2005 PRS 513 Brazilian Rosewood Orange

I use a Mark V and a Fishman Loudbox Artist with my P22. The "2" Channel PRS amps were announced a few weeks after I bought the Mark V. When PRS comes out with a two channel "H" with about 40 woatts, 2X10s with an open back ... I might be tempted. I use the Tweed mode in the first channel mostly.

The Mark V is a great amp...I used mine in Tweed mode mostly, too. got a question for ya. Do you find that putting your amp on a table causes all kinds of audible vibrations? I like to record a cab off the floor, but I have to wind up putting it on something to isolate it from the surface of the table or bench, or I get all kinds of resonances.

    I had to do a count. 9 I think.

Main home amp is the JVM JS 410 Head with a full Marshall 1960V stack, it TOTALLY rocks. Low volume setup at home is the 5 JVM1 1 watt Heads (JTM1, JMP1, JCM1, DSL1 and JVM1), plus the JVM1 Combo for portability. Also the Vox little DA5 when battery operation is required. Main gigging rig in Ottawa Canada is a PRS 2-Channel C with the Boost Mod, and a PRS 4x10 Cab, works great for me.

Yup, 9. But 6 are these 50th Anniersary 1 watt Marshall collector's pieces, in my defense. And another is another small practice amp. So really two "real" amps?

And GAS for more, of course!

I put my amps & cabs on these carpeted furniture dollys, I haven't heard any vibration issues at all.

I've also had several Two-Rocks that were wonderful amps - Onyxes and CRS v. 2 and 3. Had a bunch of other amps, but the two you have were my absolute faves for a long time.

If you like those amps, I think you'll also dig the HX/DA. It's got character and a "wow" factor like the T-verb and TR, but in a different direction. It'd nicely compliment your other rigs.
Thanks for the info about the HXDA, I kinda wondered if it would be different enough from my other two amps to justify the expense! Thanks LShefman
