    SE Korina One

So, was kinda hoping I wouldn't be that thrilled with this when it arrived, along with the requisite death threats from my wife at the arrival of "another GD friggin' box" but I am initially mighty impressed.

This was an extraordinary deal - $350 closeout no tax free shipping, less than some used ones, and it's a 2012 with the bound fretboard and birds.

It's definitely a nice complement to my SE Semi-Hollow soapys, with enough extra growl to justify it, especially for the price.

Not sure if it's the simplicity of the thing, but I find myself paying mode attention to where I am picking the strings, playing with the volume, etc. It really does cover more ground than you'd think.

Anyway, very very cool I think she's a keeper...I blame all of the SE One love from this forum for her arrival

    Sounds sweet!

Well, except for the death threats. LOL
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

Well, not the most interesting slabs of Korina I have ever seen (but more interesting than my 1970s paneling), but still a very cool-looking guitar. Quick shots below:
