    NGD - single coil edition

Just picked this up. I'm about to hit rehearsal and put it through the paces.

This model needs to come back.
-I'm no expert, but it seems to work and I haven't electrocuted myself yet. Which is pretty much the standard I live by.

Pretty sure that all SEs (except the Bernie Marsden) have always shipped with .09s.

I threw .10s on mine it thickened it up nicely.

    Gotcha. Thanks.

This one had .09s, but man it's weird how one gauge up makes such a difference. I really like the way it sounded, but the strings were just too slinky. Man I forgot how much single coils pop. It shined up some awkward chords nicely. My drummer liked the EG better than the Singlecut.

I just did the full wipe down, string change, fretboard cleaning. I put on a set of .10s and with just a little tweak on the trem and it seems to be fantastic.

    Nice!
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

Here's a question. It appears that the adjustment screw for the trem arm is missing. Is there anywhere to get a replacement?
