    4-12-13 Crossroads Festival Performers and Set Lists

    So I went to Clapton's Crossroads Festival at Madison Square Garden in NYC last night...here are the performers and set lists from the show...it was beyond ridiculous....one of the best I've seen. My only gripe is that outside of the Allman Brothers Band and their use of PRS amps (dripping with blistering tone...BTW). I only saw one or two PRS in use...(I actually only remember a McCarty)......you can look at this in a few ways....the way I like to view this= HUGE OPPORTUNITY for PRS-......Shawn it's time to get on the phone and get some of these cats on board to see what they're missing!     man it was a blast!!! Derek and Warren sounded amazing....exploding with tone...the PRS amps sound better than anything else used the whole night...that being said....Doyle Brahmhall and Gary Clarke Jr. need to be playing PRS!

    Seeing EC do jazz/fusion with Kurt Rosenwinkel and Alan Holdsworth was also a really cool experience...wish I was going tonight...Jeff Beck is playing.

    Sounds like an amazing night. I'd of loved to see it.

    All the clips I've seen so far are not indicative of how the show sounded...EVERYTHING sounded crisp and clear!

    I saw Robert Randolph last month at SXSW, and he burnt down the stage. Completely upstaged the headlining Levom Helm tribute.

    Robert Randolph did an amazing job...loved the jam with Buddy Guy and Quinn Sullivan...the three of them trading licks was unreal.

    I find it quite disturbing that since the first one of these gigs Clapton has decided to take them state side, I saw him play along side ZZ Top, Bonnie Raitt and others in 93 in Birmingham UK he's not been back with it since.

    And he's British, I would love to see this but with flights and Accommodation there is no way I can afford it
