Can I show off my studio here?

Finally finished it late last year. Made out of 2 converted shipping containers.

Check out more of the build and photos (I need to put some more in as well) at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Good-...65552520249466

You, sir, are a brave man! I'd have been totally freaked out over whether the acoustics and heating/cooling would be right with the metal sidewalls.

But I love the fact that you recycled shipping containers!
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

I have an ac in the main area and one in each of the live and dead rooms. We heavily insulated the walls and placed a floating floor in to run the cabling etc. It gets quite frosty actually!

Very nice. Just watch out. Storage Hunters might be round bidding on your containers.

That's badass! So, can these those containers still be picked up and moved or are they tethered down somehow? A mobile studio like that would be tittays.

Don't you hate it when you think you've got a great idea and someone out there has already thought of it?

Spartanwa - are they offset like that permanently? Can you show a floor plan? I'd love to see some more details of the outside.
