Cedar is just such a wonderful tone wood, mellow and rich sounding. Not too bright. Pretty on the eyes and ears. Congrats!

That's gorgeous! I don't think I've ever seen figured cedar before.
Reminds me of a country gig I did many years ago where this guy comes up to the bandstand and asks us if we can play "Cedar Tree". We all looked at each other and went, "'Cedar Tree?' Sorry, never heard of it--how does it go?" The guy went, "Cedar tree, how big it's grown, well, friend, it hasn't been too long, it wasn't big..." "Honey", Bobby Goldsboro--one of the cheesiest songs ever written. Needless to say, we didn't play it!

Great wood there, and I love the inlays.

This might be a stupid question, but isn't cedar typically a little more brown or red than that? She seems awfully blonde compard to the cedar I have in my woodworking stash.

What a guitar! Those inlays are spectacular, as is the wood choice. Excellent work!

The inlays on that look great and that's definitely a top I'd agree needed to stay natural! No need to tweak what mother nature perfected, eh Steve?

Damn you sir! I would be in big trouble with the lethal collective object consciousness of gas in your proximity.
