Chris and Kate are as sweet and fun loving as they come. If you can make it to his neck of the woods I suggest doing so. Plus Nashvagas is a lot of fun.

Chris your contributions to this guitar are top notch. We all appreciate it.

See you at Experience if I don't make it to Nashville first.

Man, Chris's mods really knock this one outa the park!

Love the mods, love the video. I saved all the pics here for the album (which may take the form of a USB thumb drive... )

Next stop for the guitar is back to Maryland and then to WV for a Celtic Wedding! Woot Woot!

just because shipping it off is like cutting off one of my arms... just because I've already named who will get it in my will... just because I put a secret tracking GPS in a hidden compartment in the body....

I shipped the beast back to Rugerpc. I had a forum brother ask if he could add strap locks when he gets it so I put the original strap buttons back on. I know the PRS style buttons are a love/hate kinda thang & most everyone loves strap locks...so there ya go! If something changes I'll be glad to mail these to whomever has the beast.
By the way.....this guitar is awesome!!

Wow! The list is really starting to fill in! Bill and Rob are doing such an incredible job of maintaing the inertia for this project, and I adore the fact that this is bringing us all closer together. Remember that this is a project that we are doing for PRS as a thank you for this forum and all the hard work that they do for us... I couldn't be more pleased.

The Forum Guitar is back in Carroll County, MD. It came just before lunch and I got a chance for a quick test drive.

First impression: CR's case sticker rocks! Oh... you want to know about the guitar...

I plugged the beast into the big Hughes and Kettner Trilogy on the clean channel - pots at 10 on the guitar. It almost ripped my face off! These new pups (Burstbuckers) and new volume pot turned this korina into an in your face monster. But guess what, dial the volume pot back to 8 and it is sweet enough to play McCartney's "Blackbird". Talk about versatility!

OK, I will. The tone pot can go from bright to midnight. The volume pot is sensitive. Small tweaks give big changes in tone. With a little experimentation and practice, I think anyone could dial in whatever tone they wanted just from the guitar itself with their amp set on "vanilla". The pups are both hot. Either or both easily saturated the front end of the dirt channel. The speaker cabinet grew hair.

When I sent the guitar to Chris, it already had good personality, Now it can go from kitten to fire breathing beast. Is it an accident that it arrived tuned to Drop D? I think not.

This guitar doesn't just have balls, it has great round hairy cajones!

I unplugged 30 minutes ago and my ears are still ringing....

Quibble: there is a little noise in the pup toggle switch. Someone down the line needs to replace that toggle...

Glad you liked the sticker & I agree that the gtr sounds awesome!!
Whenever someone swaps out the toggle, swap out that tone pot too!

The guitar sounds wonderful! Good going CR.
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

I added a set of rosewood knobs. Whatcha think guys? Keep 'em or back to the black speed knobs?

She sounds and plays great!!! The Burstbucker III is as badazz sounding a pickup as it looks!!!

Looks great Jon! So fitting that you are the one putting it on.

Called Shawn today, can't wait to get my TRCs.

I think I owe you all some signings.

Rodicus was so fast he was a blur in most shots - including when he bought and tossed a set of string in the case - just in case the old ones wore out their welcome.
