    Stuck in Indy

After an awesome 4-days with Markie (and PhennRock too) my family and I are stuck in the Indy airport waiting for our airplane - which was supposed to be here from Baltimore 4 hours ago. Boredom is setting in but YOU can help by providing me with some fun reading material.

Let's say you ran PRS for a day. What would you do (besides giving Shawn a raise) and why?

I'd hold an open house in September. I'd invite players and collectors to the plant, and I'd..........................................Oh wait.

And, I'd give Shawn Nuthall a raise.

OK. I've given this some more thought. If I had a day, I'd look at every piece of wood in the plant.....................Oh wait.

Production 7 and 8 string models, because I want Maryland made 7 and 8 strings.

I would enlist more metal artists and have more metal flavored demos, because I like metal.

PRS Experience two times a year? I think so, because who doesn't like get togethers?

Give Shawn a raise, because he DESERVES.

Order everyone Ram's Head for lunch, because they have some of my favorite food.

Build an app...that shall remain a mystery for now. Ask me about it in a month or so.

Start a program where you can work at PRS for a week to see it all happen up close and personal, because I dream of working there.

Add a Jesse's Guitar to the production line, because who doesn't want a signature model?

Have a conversation with Doug Sewell about a Maryland made contender in the metal arena, because I want brutality from a PRS amp.

Get with Dave Crocker about the first Absinthe Glow and Absinthe Dragon's Breath stains, because I would like to see what those look like.

Photobomb P. Miles hard and often, because of revenge!

Drink some beer with Geoff and Tim, because of tradition.

Prank call TGS, because of more revenge!

Reserve a table at Lewnes' for dinner, because of steak and schrummpphzzzzz.

Likely not the most popular or wisest business moves but I only have one day so...

Perspex guitars (only two of 'em) and then fill a bathtub with winged tuners and fulfill a life-long fantasy of mine.

Oh... executive hot tub and margarita machine installed in PTC.

A limited run of all production models with 245 necks.

And I'd put all of Pete's PS orders to the back of the line so that he has to buy production models to get him through the wait.

A "Guitar-Fly" program modeled after the Game-Fly video game swapping business. You pay a designated amount per year, try a guitar. Then if you want to try another just send back the one you have.

I would work on an orchestra sized acoustic model that is all hog and 12 frets to the body with a satin finish and try to build it at a $1500 (street) price point. I actually would work on a line of USA PRS acoustics in that price range. Plainer woods, no bling, dot inlays.

I don't know what I'd do if I ran PRS, but I'm confident everyone would wind up P.O.'ed

Fully-braced, 17", jazz archtop. Something to give D'Aquisto/Monteleon, etc a real run for their money.

    It's time.

I'd commission the design of a locking drop in replacement for the vintage tuners. I'd also permanently bring back wide fat and old birds

You sir are a genius. Can't believe I didn't think of a vintage tuner replacement.
