    I believe that Jack Gretz at Northeast Music carries most sizes. I know he has the 9.5's as that's where mine come from.

    I like them a lot.
    I think you can feel the difference from stock Dadararios -- softer is a good way to describe it.

    I just bought a box of a dozen 10's online. When you say softer, does that refer to the sound as well as the feel?

    Feel. But nickel wrap does sound different from nickel plated steel. It's more vintage, warmer sounding. Nickel usually also lasts longer than plated steel, and is easier on the frets.

    When string makers came out with the plated steel strings, they were brighter sounding, however, I prefer the tone of the nickel.
    If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.
