My 'new' McCarty arrived today - Pics

    Hi.

My '97 McCarty arrived today. Spent the evening cleaning and restringing. Love the colour. Heavier than my Custom 22. Bit thicker I think. Thoughtd I'd share some pics and maybe get some feedback (like, what does FWF mean under the bridge pickup?).

Great looking guitar. I remember when those were first released. How I wanted one. Still do.

    Very sexy!
-I'm no expert, but it seems to work and I haven't electrocuted myself yet. Which is pretty much the standard I live by.

Nice! That's one heck of a week you've had. Those two are basically all you need, you can do it all and never need another guitar IMHO.

They say those early "round corner" McCarty pickups the first few years were really made by Lindy Fralin. That's what "they" say, I'm just repeating the rumor. Lindy is known to have made pickups for PRS in the 90s, like the dominoes on the EGs, for example, so it's not so far fetched.

If I thought I was going to live this long I'd have taken better care of myself!
