I would suggest having them put in the mini toggle to split the pickups. Then I would have them install some Mira pickups while it was there.

    absolutely gorgeous top and back!

OK...here's the final result...I'm very very happy with it to say the least...subtle cosmetic changes, electronics mod allowing all single coil and Humbucker combos, without sacrificing piezo...and no cosmetic changes to control layout. Sounds amazing...Thanks Skitchy-Great Job!!! And of course...the rosewood treatment of extreme awesomeness. Here are the "afters" to compare to before pics at begining of thread.

Many thanks to Shawn and the awesome PTC crew. Fast and flawless work. Thanks to my fellow forum members for suggestions, inspiration (from posting your own mods)....wouldn't have had the guts to try it without all of your positive experiences.

Didn't think I would like the black rings but with the body's burst border, it looks awesome, and with your preferred sounds..in the words of Paula Abdul(OMG....puke)...you made it your own!!

The only thing I can see that needed changing was it needs two more frets.

The black rings do look sharp.

    It turned out fantastic!
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.
