    New Earth, Wind, & Fire!

Super psyched for this! It sounds like they've done a really good job on the new material without bowing to current trends (aside from the fact that disco/funk is back!).

Along with Slayer and Fugazi, EWF is one of those bands I've seen a million times, but unlike those other two I think this new album will have me dishing out the cash to see 'em another time.

I suppose this thread is really only interesting to me, so I'll have to reply to it myself.

I saw them in Mainz, Germany two nights ago and they debuted one of the songs from the new album. I hope they put it on iTunes.
    I love 24 frets: 4 X CU24s, 2 X Carvin DC127s, 1 X Schechter Omen 6

Coincidently, the Grainger brothers will be performing an Earth Wind and Fire tribute show at the Rams head next month.

Real-deal pros, the arrangements are always fantastic, and everything is so well performed.
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

Ralph seems to do a pretty good job on the "Maurice" parts too!
