Off To See The Wizard - PRS Fan Day - Independence, MO - 8/3/13

PRS Fan Day - Independence, MO 8/3/13

It was a success on all fronts. I could not be happier I made the 3+ hour trip from the STL area to take part in the event.

A big thanks to PRS/DW/GC for hosting the event. Thanks all!

An extra special thanks goes out to the PRS family members there, J., Jack, and Jeanne. Thanks so much for making time to talk. It was a real treat.

And a huge big ultra special thanks goes out to my man Lenny. Lenny you are a king! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

    Here are a few samples...

I played all of these S2's. Whatever your expectations, raise them. These guitars will still be better than that. Trust me. The moment you pick one up you get it. I have a hard time imagining not owning one of these very soon.

    Singled out x 3.

Mr. Hayes prepping the one of the info booths.

    Lenny likes it.

    Brass balls.

    3 men and an axe.

I asked Lenny to play us out on the second guitar he setup and tweaked for me. He was gracious enough to oblige me my request. So here you go...

I took two guitars with me. One in Charcoal Cherry Burst, the other in Blue Steel.

Lenny made them sing to their fullest potential.

Looks like a good time. J "Dot" Hayes was there too, eh?

This photo is way cool so I'm attaching it (if that's alright).

Yep, he was there. We chatted plenty.

Lenny was showing me the brass in the nut. I stopped to take a picture. Thought it was cool too.

    Sweet!
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

Dang. Just missed it by a day. I stopped in yesterday.

The employees had great things to say about the event and the S2 guitars. Was hoping they would have an S2 Starla, but alas.
