    Wildwood Demos The Three S2s

I hope this is not a repost, I did scan the big S2 thread
I do like the Custom 24, but I think if I get another Maryland built guitar, it will be a Tremonti.

Haha! Those are great demos! I was cracking up at all the one-liners.

I liked the Mira best, based on those demos.

That guy is a riot. I think that's best demo of the S2 Custom I've heard so far, a lot of them are so oversaturated when they kick the drive in but this one kept the tone alive!
-I'm no expert, but it seems to work and I haven't electrocuted myself yet. Which is pretty much the standard I live by.

Awesome demos. Loved the comedy bits lol.

I'm on the fence about a custom 24 .....S2 or a Maryland made......I hate decisions lol

PS, someone here was asking the other day if there are any of the Mira's in antique white in stock anywhere, and it appears Wildwood has one.

I think it was in this month's Guitar Player where they interview Greg about his new album. The album features him along with some pretty big names sitting in, including Bonamassa and Robben Ford. He's definitely a very, very good player.

Greg played at a small local music store near me, he can REALLY rock out too, often not seen in his videos.

Is it just me, or is the Mira shaping up to be the PRS analogue to Gibson's SG? They're both all-mahogany guitars, and they seem to have a similar place in their respective product lines. The Mira ought to be a formidable competitor to the SG; every demo video I've heard so far sounds incredible, especially through the bridge pickup with a little crunch. Great solid rock tone, but with a nice bluesy neck pickup, and some of the best single-coil tones I've heard from PRS humbuckers. Lots of versatility in that guitar without sacrificing basic rock functionality. Of the S2 line, it's the clear standout.

I definitely think the Mira and Starla are perfect fits for this new S2 line. They never seemed to fit in with the core line, always seemed like they were meant for a different market. The S2 line makes that delineation official and puts them at a better price point.

Think the same here! Mira and Starla sound really good! Very promising.

The Mira & Starla were my PRS gateway drugs, so to speak. The first models they came out with that I really dug. Led to a lot of other PRS purchases for sure, but if I were new to PRS today, I'm not absolutely 100% sure if the S2 line would suck me in or not. I liked that those guitars were made on the same lines as the fancier ones, that was actually a plus in my mind.

Need to try 'em to find out I guess though.

I really like the Mira as well. I mean, I like my current Mira, but I do want to check out one of these. They've really got my attention.
