Took me while to work it out, 1977 was a bad year for cars...

I've gone with the Mercedes 460 SEL 6.9 from the David Lynch movie "Lost Highway". Apparently tuned to around 1400hp... Comfortable, looks like nothing, goes like stink!

Doesn't matter when I was born...I want this car!
I would sit in the High Seat with my PRS! I would then be the Guitar God I think I am.

    Practically new Custom Mercedes
    Based on midsize M-Class SUV
Bullet proof cabin with no blind spots
    Self-contained oxygen supply
    3 feet of headroom
White leather seat with gold trim (no really – gold trim)
Armored side panels and undercarriage, Explosive countermeasures
Very low miles, never exceeded 6mph
Perfect for head of large church or rich, paranoid doomsday prepper
    Divorce forces sale
Comes with free pair of red loafers
    Scandalously low price

Like that one too. I love it when you have something that looks like nothing but surprises the heck out of you.

I was lucky enough to get a 1968 Volvo 145 from a friend's parents who had it from new. It had only done 80,000 miles by 2005 and it actually turned out to be made in February of that year, same as my birth date. I had to let it go because I couldn't give her (Gerty) the care she needed. Now lives in Ireland with a sugar daddy who can treat her right!

From that year object of absolute desire, Ferrari 365GTB4 'Daytona', or fractionally more realistic Mini Cooper S.

I image searched that and found this:

There's a woman who takes her kids to my daughter's school who drives one just like this, same color and everything. It's a little worn around the edges, like it's been on the road for 45 years without having been restored at all, but it clearly works fine as her daily driver.

My parents had a late-70s 300D, light green with tan interior. I loved that car!
