Sergio was asking about splitting the Narrowfield pickups, since he was chasing singlecoil tones. I was thinking they did a pretty good job when you wind back the volume a bit so I decided to record the same demos as I had with The 624 (amp and all that was still set up). Then I thought I might as well go the whole hog and do the SE EG modified with NFs and a 59/09 (to compare the differences), and also my CU22 Soapy (to put a NF side by side a P-90, slightly different constructions tho). Here's the results:

Hmm I just wondered if I should create a, for example, neck only comparo. Would that help anyone or you can pretty much hear what's going on in these files already?
Best off using studio monitors or headphones otherwise you'll miss the subtle differences between all of them
