    Shawn,

I'm jealous! I can only imagine the greats you've dealt with over the years. I'd love to meet David and talk guitars/music/whatever for a few minutes, but I'd be embarrassed to ask for a lesson too.

    Here's what's I've got playing today...

Although he dominates mainstream radio and the hearts of millions of pop-loving girls, there is no doubt in my mind that John Mayer is one of the few guitar driven talents my generation has seen. I love his style to no end.

    Bonus content: this is hilarious.

I've got a lot of music going today. Here's a video of one example, an Alice Cooper Album cut.

Man, you have some of my favorites on that list. I fell in love with that Judas Priest the day it came out, and I never get tired of listening to it. So much of the playing on it is a bit slower, more soulful. "Desert Plains", "Heading Out to the Highway", and especially "Turning Circles".

Thanks for this list. You've got me revisiting some great ones.

I can't get this one out of my mind (or keep it out of the tray) today. Seven Mary Three's "Cumbersome".

Isley Brothers - Who's that lady?
Ernie Isley is a little buried in this mix, but the song still kills.

:-) Point of Entry is my favorite Priest. Not a stinker on the whole record. "Heading Out to the Highway", "Turning Circles", & "Don't Go" are faves.....
