Wednesday again already. Back in the early days of music videos, things weren't always so well thought out. Here's a prime example.

In this video, we see a Canadian band at Le Studio, and they often have free time on their hands. After all, studio time isn't expensive or hard to come by, right?!? Among the sights included here are:

Scenes from the Quarter Finals of the Canadian Junior Table Hockey League, along with one player showing his displeasure after a loss by seeming to urinate on the rinkette.

A tour of some of the experimental bike racks of the area.

A How-To guide on making coffee while keeping your hair out of the pot.

Phil Collins moonlighting while on holiday from Genesis.

A quick view of Le Studio's infamous parking setup, which is across a small lake and accessible only by rowboat. By all accounts it is the worst in the entire recording industry. (It must be a killer in the Winter!).

Note: A little known fact is that once their career had slowed down somewhat, this band was able to tour the world yet again, this time as Goodwill Ambassadors for Maxwell House.

Humpday. May we all get through it and have fun doing so. Goldtop/QC

I'm so lucky sometimes. Take yesterday evening for example. I had the great (mis)fortune to have to call my ex-wife. Did you ever smell a pile of burning tires? That's the face I make when I think of having to speak to her. Why did I have to call her and tarnish an otherwise perfectly good Wednesday evening? SHE OWES ME MONEY! DUE ON THE FIRST MEANS JUST THAT, FOOL! F-I-R-S-T, as in THE NUMBER ONE!

She's so charming. After we were done and I got my toe straightened out and splinted, I needed music. Loud. Angry. Aggressive. Music. My ears are still ringing this morning...

I'm in a better mood now. And I've been listening to different versions of this all morning. If you're seeing this, oh blackness in my cloud, oh itch down my collar after a haircut, oh aroma of angry skunk, this is called irony. 'Sunsine of YOUR Love'? Didn't know there even was such a thing!

I found myself whistling this at Barnes & Noble this morning. No idea why that happened, but I had to come home to hear the whole thing.

Just watched some of Mr. Blue Sky - The Story of Jeff Lynne.
Definitely going to go back and review the rest of it.

    Oh, My Dear EX-Battleaxe,

Once again, my money is due on THE FIRST DAY of each month. Not 'around the first'; not 'the first half of the month'; not 'whenever you get around to it'; not 'whenever the bar cuts you off and sends you home with whatever pennies you have left at the bottom of your two-for-one special purse that you bought from the old lady with one eye that also does fortune telling in space 87 at the flea market'. First. One. Uno. Un.

Listen. You know me. We were together nearly twenty-five years. You know how I am about The Blues. You also know that I've spent a lot of time in Mississippi. And Louisiana; New Orleans in particular. I am familar with Voodoo. I heard through the grapevine that you had car trouble today... Just a coincidence? Karma? Wonder what Robert Johnson would say?

If you see me running around the block on the night of the next full moon with a chicken, a pack of JuicyFruit, and a jug of Quaker State, don't say I didn't warn you. Make your next move your best move; PAY ME!

I have to start by saying two things:

    1. - I hope everyone has a great Friday today.
    2. - I'm sorry. This happened to me, and I'm only passing it along.

Thinking about cards naturally brought me to these guys. I don't know that they could follow Zeppelin in real life, but on here hopefully they'll get by alright.

A safe Friday night, and great weekend to everyone.

    Thankyou kind Sir!

My next one may be something inspired by this bit of fine tuneage...
