This is "Arlington" by Trace Adkins. For those who may not be familiar with it, the Arlington he's singing about is Arlington National Cemetery, our nation's Cemetery for Fallen Heroes in Arlington Virginia. Below is a link to their website.

This is the last one from me for awhile. I want to thank everybody on the forum for all they do to make it such a great place. PRS is a special company, so it stands to reason that they'd have a special forum too. We're good to each other here, and hopefully we'll always be.

I hope that every American reading this post loves this country at least as much as I do, and I also hope (lotta 'hopes' in this post) that you had a fun, safe 4th! Thank you to all of our Military past, present, and future for defending our freedom.

One more thing: I know I've mentioned this before, and I'm not even sure I need to, but it feels right so here it is. For all of the new members, as well as everyone else, please remember that every single one of us is free to post in this thread. It only has my username on it because of a kindness on the part of James the Administrator (and perhaps others that I'm not aware of). So don't be shy. Jump on in!

If asked to name my favorite Motorhead album, my first answer is automatic: All of them. If I had to choose just one, it would probably be "1916".

I heard on the news this morning that The Pope is either already in - or is going to - Brazil. So this is dedicated to him. I have no idea whether or not he's into Motorhead, but if he isn't then he's missing out...

The Winery Dogs! (Sheehan, Portnoy, and Kotzen)

Had no idea Ritchie Kotzen could sing like that.

This is dedicated to the folks in Detroit, as well as the rest of Michigan, and probably even the entire USA before all is said and done. Some difficult times ahead for a lot of people I'm afraid.

    Nightwish

I listen to Pandora while at work when I exercise walk, and on my way home from work in my rig.
I have a channel I named Dream Theater which plays their music, and but it also picks other type of progressive rock music I may like, and Nightwish from Finland is one of the bands that rotates into Pandora when listening.
I guess their music would be described as symphonic metal?

Found a few videos on YouTube, and they also have a channel.

This one is kind of strange, all the male band members keep morphing back and forth between male and female

I believe I also read that the singer has been replaced with another woman a few years back?

    NIGHTWISH - Bye Bye Beautiful

    This one is much mellower.

    Nightwish - The Islander

This one has the new singer, not real sure???
I do not know enough about the band and its members.

    Nightwish - "Planet Hell"

PS, yes new singer in the bottom video from 2012.
Her name is Anette Olzon, but looks like from reading the Wiki that she has left the band too.
The old singer that left her name was Tarja Turunen.
    Found with Wiki.

Friday in America. I hope everyone has a great, safe day today and a weekend that's even better.

I plan to have good ones myself in spite of the fact that these guys are playing right here in town tonight and I can't go. Close to the end of the month and I'm flat broke. Talk about a bummer!

The late, great Dobie Gray would have been 71 today.

Roger Taylor of Queen is 64 today. I always felt Roger was underrated as a drummer, especially if you consider how diverse Queen's music is. Pick a style and Roger can handle it. This is a song he wrote for his friend Freddie...
