It hit 108 degrees here yesterday. I'm still trying to recover from it, and what better way to do that than to listen to more Gary Moore!?

I haven't posted a "T-O-O-T" (Two On One Tune) in a long time, so here's one for today.

Warren Haynes is the king of blues and rock and roll. He came to St Louis right when the Man in Motion ALbum released. Second show on the tour. Man, it was killer. Played over 3 hours. Didnt take a break either. The band took a break but Haynes picked up his acoustic and played during the set break. One of my all time favorite shows. The sax player was great also.

Seen him play out back in the parking lot at The Fox Theatre in St Louis before the show for a small crowd and also at Vintage Vinyl record store with Govt Mule the day after the Govt Mule show. First 200 people that went to the show got passes for intimate show with Govt Mule. It was more of a rehearal than a show. They played brand new songs that they never played before. It was killer.

Honestly does it get any better than Bad Little Doggie? Heavy rock(old school) the way it should be.

As far as PRS amps, I dont think he really ever uses them. They are on stage though.

Seen him play with Phil and Friends quite a few time and The Dead Tour in Chicago in 2009 or 2010(cant remember the year). 2 shows on Cinco De Mayo. Talk about a party. Had the place packed inside and out. Huge parking lot party lated all night. Cops didnt kick anybody out.
Haynes played All Along The WatchTower that blew the roof off the place. The band just let him do his thing all night. He was the man. There is all kinds of videos from the Chicago Dead shows he played.

Monday July 1st. As I mentioned in another thread, today is Canada Day in the USA. Soooo, taking inspiration whenever and wherever I find it, I will be listening to - and posting - only Canadian artists today. All Canadian - All Day! (It may not be much, but it's about the best I can offer as a salute to our Brothers and Sisters to the North, and it's from the heart!)

First up is the former Mrs. Mutt Lange aka Shania Twain. I don't know if Robert Palmer and his team got a partial credit for this video, but IMO they should have.

A woman in a tophat AND a veil? I'm addicted to that!

Mr. Oscar Peterson. To me, he made it sound so effortless. I'd love to have more of that in my playing, but I doubt I'll ever live long enough to even come close...

I used to have hair like this. I never could prove it, but I think that's why they wouldn't let me into The Naval Academy.

Naturally, this is an instrumental, because who wants to hear lyrics about sweat running into your eyes, potato salad that's been in the sun all day, your flesh burnt to the same color as this red flower, and chigger bites up the wazoo?!?

This post is a little different for me. Usually, I try to post a version of a given song with the highest sound quality I can find. But this time around, I went with a video primarily because of the visual part of it. Still Canadian (BTO), but with footage of the US Navy's Blue Angels Flight Team.
