Yes but then I wouldn't have a paddle. I'm guessing a MIra would work best.
You could always forget the paddle and just surf...
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

Well, the road above my house - which continues up into the canyon - is tango uniform. Guess I won't be riding my mountain bike that way for a while.

I think he'd need a Starla for that!

Many thoughts with you folks in CO. I was only there once, but it was gorgeous. My wife is still a bit upset with her sister for moving away before we could get there a second time.

    Stay safe and dry Hans!

I just went through a flood at my house - water main break at the top of my street...my house only one flooded...just my luck!

measuring the wall, looks like I had about 11 1/4" of water so no shop vac was going to work for me, but I hope you don't see anymore water/damage. It's unreal the kind of damage water can do. Even after it's gone. I am having shortness of breath being at my house and may have to spend a night or two somewhere else.

Anyway hope everybody out there is safe.

It's bad. About a foot of rain in 36 hours at my house - which is a very big deal here. That much water, that fast, creates serious problems with flash flooding.

Minor flooding in my basement. Was up all night with my shop-vac. About 9 gallons an hour coming in to the house.

    Man....that suuuuucks.....sorry to hear it.

Absolutely, me too. Glad to hear you're "OK" for the time being, hopefully things get better soon.

Thanks for all the posts, PM's, texts, and email. I guess the news has spread across the country so I've been getting a lot of thoughtful messages.

My house is good. I seem to have plugged the leak. I can't say that life is very good for the people on the next street over. The creek changed course last night and decided to flow directly into a row of houses.

And it just started raining again. Ironic... this time last year we were praying for rain. Careful what you wish for!

Here's a look at life for the people one street over as they prepare for the next series storms headed our way.

    Jeez...those pictures!

I had 11" of water in my basement when it flooded this week...and it's a MESS...lost damn near everything downstairs...I can't imagine what so many people in Colorado are going to have to go through. My heart goes out to them.

It sucks that people have to suffer through stuff like this.
