    Ok, may be a bit off, but I have a large collection of CDs, and I will pick an oddball CD I haven't listened to in a long time, pick a single song I don't remember, and attempt to play along, and figure out the guitar parts..lt clears the mind of other schtuph

    yep, depression, or the blues is often too much thinking, not enough moving. do something physical, preferably outdoors.
