My "Larry the Paintguy" Metal Tribute.....slowly becoming one of my longest owned PRS....can't bear to sell or trade it...it plays at good as it looks....
1994 PRS CU24 customized in color shifting paint...entire guitar from top to bottom...color shifts from purple to magenta to gold.
We just collaborated with Bud on a fourth Metal guitar. I didn’t get permission from the owner to post pics, so I’ll let him do it if he chooses.
This could be my undoing...I might have to do another one.
IIRC, Paul Miles (Director of Private Stock) did the Metal Tribute guitars.
I didn't know if it was an official tribute done in house or by another artist...Mr. Miles does amazing amazing work....you guys are lucky to have him.
Bud Davis.............................. the originator of the term "Hands"
Fanboy of the Jester (AKA) James (Previously known as 11top)
I like the simplicity. Traditional Metal Model stripes are a "can't lose" decision.
I also like how he didn't just go for the white and blue combo. The fade to gold is clean.
Now that is Class!!!
