Very cool. I think the natural binding also makes the guitar sound better, too.

Seafoam Green was a color that didn't click for me until a few years ago. I'm still not entirely sure I want one, but every time I see one, I'm just fascinated.

DGTs are awesome guitars, as you've discovered. Welcome to the club!

Wow, I'll add to the chorus... I've seen a few seafoam standard DGT's, but never a maple capped one. That's a very special and rare piece of playable art!

Enjoy it and play the heck out of it.

I have a DGT with a maple cap in antique white, I love the classy look of the opaque finishes... they are remarkably like liquid color... even if they are "plain".

Of course the scraped "binding" shows that there's some stripes under the color...

    Again, congrats!

Now you need a DGT Standard to complete the set. Get that in seafood. And the wife will never know.

    Great guitar!

    Great guitar!
Just read this with my wife looking over my shoulder. I would LOVE to get a standard in seafood. Mmmmm... seafood.

But that's funny you mention the Standard. A day or so after getting this one, I thought, "Hmm, I wonder how the Standard sounds compared to this."

SO glad you bought that beauty, Andy! As it appears to be consistent with every DGT I've played, this thing sounds and plays just fantastic! The color looks awesome in person too, I really dig it! Congrats again sir!

Thanks again, Sir! I had the opportunity this week to help return the favor to someone else. Another guitar you brought to my attention on eBay was one that a friend of mine has been trying to get for a long time. I told him about it and he ended up winning the auction. The circle is now complete.
