Yes, it is a very interesting neck.
I might have to find one of the nylons to try as well.

I don't like the nylons. Actually, it's more the garter belts I don't like - they hurt my legs after a while - but since they're a package deal...

Had not noticed that the 408s aren't splittable on this. Wonder if they're wired that way, or if they would just need a splitting pot added. I think the humbucker tones from the 408s are gorgeous, but the splits were a big selling point on the 408s.

Once you've gone double, might as well go for the triple play.

I've done two at once. Three at once is still on my wish list.

I notest there are no European Collection dealer anymore. No WorldGuitars or Voerman on the list anymore. Bummer because the taxes are killing for buying outside the EU.

Whomever it was, I hope he made sure the wings on the headstock were Perny as well. Mahogany wings are tone suckers when glued to Perny headstocks.
Depends what kind of glue is used.

Also digging Paco's lampshade hat, and changing my name to Lesteban.

If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

First order of business: new hat.

Soon you will be able to buy, "Lesteban Live At The Billmore" on QVC.

Seriously, the cool thing will be that it will have 60 thirty second tracks instead of 10 three minute tracks. So no one has to listen longer than a commercial.

But until I get the right hat and puffy shirt, unfortunately, I will not be in a position to record it. So there's that.

Is the nut a different material than the usual graphite mix? Looks more like a bone color on these.
