NSiggyD - I finally see the light!

So I finally snagged a used a Siggy, came earlier this week from the fine folks at Brian's Guitars. Last night I had time to really put it through its paces and I am totally blown away. I know I'm late to the party - but the 408s really are a revelation.

The neck split sounded like a huge Strat through my 30 watt Fuchs combo - easily copping massive, SRV like tones. And the wide-bridge humbucker is just a flame throwing destroyer - the binding on the neck on these guitars is actually very appropriate because if I didn't know better -I would think I was playing a rude, killer 24.5" scale Gibby - including the neck which feels like my R9 with the famed "long neck tenon" - that thing is dense, tight and super-resonant.

And that fact that you can go from full roar, that to that gorgeous acoustic-like tone with the split combos in the middle, is just incredible. Bravo Paul - the 408s really are a leap forward that have thus far exceeded my wildest expectations!

Sorry to blather on, without further ado:

    Superb!

I feel the very same way.
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.

    Awesome!

Ever since I struck the first chord with my Siggy, there´s no going back to anything else really.
    Thank´s for reading!

Sweet guitar! I've played 408s but never a Siggy.
