    I REturn! with an NGD!

    Hey guys!,
    long time no see!
Had to come here for the good news recently been playing with a Mayones i bought back in August but after playing it day in day out for a month or two i fell out of love with it, it only did METAL-rar-Grr very well but nothing in between or different. Kinda had that coming I guess but that's why instea dof internet hunting i went to my old local guitar shop just to have a ganders. They're mostly a Gibson/Epiphone shop with a smattering of fenders but you never know what luck may bring and it muyst've been on my side as lo-and-behold they had a lovely 10-top PRS tucked away in the corner behind some Ibanezes.
wandered and around abit but kept gravitatiting to it, in the end went to walk out as i had the idea implanted in my head that asmaller shop wouldn'#t give me a great amount on my Mayones. but after awhile one of the guys approached my and asked if i was interested. I obviously had to say yes.
plucked it off the wall and was amazed how light it was. the neck felt incredible and the maple top shimmered like a proper 10-top should. BUT i had to stop myself there I had this sort of feeling before and i do not want another mayo horror story so i asked if i could properly test it out.
After about an hour and ahalf of noodling through a blackstar 100 and a princetone reverb fender amp (literally trying my absolute hardest to make myself think it was a not the guitar for me) i had no doubt that It was THE guitar, so I asked what I'd get for my Mayo (not expecting much) but when the guy said he'd trade it and 200 for the SC i was gob-smacked. SOLD
    So here it is!

Don't rightly know what the finish is, probably Amber Violin Burst...
The original pickups were replaced with Bareknuckle Mules which sound really nice and it also has 2 push-pull tone pots (for coil splitting) which works pretty well actually! Very convincing and also with the neck pickup being the wrong way round when you split it you get a more bassy single coil sound (i think anyway) than usual.

One thing this whole experience has taught me is i really am going to try and get any future (though not the near future) guitars from places where i can actually play them and not just rely soley on pictures and small testimonials.

But still....I FINALLY GOT A PROPER PRS!!! =3

Sweet guitar! I love that model. Yours is really pretty, too.
If something is too hard to do, then it's not worth doing. You just stick that guitar in the closet next to your short-wave radio, your karate outfit and your unicycle and we'll go inside and watch TV.
