    What? Can't search for "408"

I just bought a 408 lemon drop (Maple top) which I love, so I wanted to come here to talk about it. So I put "408" in the search box (no quotes) and it says the word is too short to search for in the forums. That is the name of one of their brand name guitars. Makes no sense.

Yup, add an asterisk… It'll bump you up to 4 characters…

Yup, and it shows results containing almost every thread in the forum.

Haha. I had the same issue looking for anything in here. Private Stock, 513, CU22... I found the only solution is to read every thread and memorize them. I've got the first step and I'm working on the 2nd.

Ironically, I work for the company that makes the forum software (vBulletin), I have used it for years, and I never knew it had a four letter minimum.

Forum searches are notoriously difficult. I always just do a Google search and use the "site:" prefix. For example, go to Google and enter 408 site:prsguitars.com/forum and voila!

408 sitersguitars.com/forum I also know this trick and use it all the time.
