Welcome and nice axe!
The interesting thing about life is that it is utterly preposterous.

Wow, nice score. My first PRS was a royal blue Cu24 with stoptail as well, from just a year earlier than yours!
Check it out: Phillybri used to have a band: Resonance
But he's soooo over them now!
Awesome find with the fixed bridge AND standard neck carve...I would say it was worth the drive (although I have no idea how long it takes to drive across Belgium)
Welcome and congratulations on a stellar guitar headstock to strap-pin!

Haha, thank you guys!
Is it rare to find a fixed bridge with standard neck carve? I clearly didn't know much about it haha.
Well, i had to take the train for 2,5 hours, then the seller picked me and a friend up in Ghent and i tested the guitar for half an hour. Then we had to go back with the car and take the train for another 2,5 hours. So yeah, it was a long day, at least for Belgians it is, i bet it's a pretty normal distance for Americans .
and, headstock to strap-pin?

You didn't happen to stop for a caramel truffle at Chocolatier Vanhoorebeke, in Ghent did you?
Great score! As others have said, the finish is Royal blue that has naturally faded.
The older S540 are fantastic guitars as well!
