I miss my ce 22. Bring it back with the new color options prs offers with option of trem or stoptail. 3 way toggle switch, push push tone pot for split coil and keep it with dots only. Hmmm, I just built me a guitar lol.

Two votes - CE should return IMO, but I'd also be a happy boy if an archtop spruce with P90's and piezo dropped! Yummy!!!

CE 24 (mahogany w/ maple top) - the specs that are nowadays available through AP only.
I think CE's maple neck would help increase in 'quick response or quick snap', but if it were reborn, I wish the maple neck came with satin finished instead of traditionally sticky one.
Maple neck option would decrease the price also. I would go for reborn CE rather than the poor-looking S2.

    Oooooooo.....

The CE is available right now.

It's called the Custom 24, upcharge to Artist package with maple neck...

    But really.....

PRS just put out a survey, and it asks for any general comments

I said...bring back the CE. PERIOD.
Give it a figured top, alder or hog body (whichever is cheaper)...and limited color options....

Hold the price at $1500 and it will be THE "gateway drug" guitar to faithful PRS players/customers to come.

Seriously...I kinda get the S2 line? But really....the CE was a master stroke. Why they discontinued it is beyond me...

From what I've read, the CE just wasn't selling.

I did not dig them myself, but it seems judging by this thread at least, its the hands down winner!

I have a CE-22 and love it; I may have discounted the CE line since "I've got mine", but really, the CE guitars are classics, and I grew up with bolt-on necks, so... add the CE-22 to my list, too. 24s are fine; I prefer the 22s, though.

If they brought back the CE, 3-way toggle w/push-pull, and you had the option of birds/dots, trem/stop tail... and the price was around $1500-$1700

I'd buy 2 CE-22s, both with birds, 1 trem, 1 stop tail ... heck, I'd pre-order them. I'm already GASing for a S2 C22 after getting my S2 Singlecut (which is now my #1). I had 2 CE-22s ('02 Blue Matteo & '07 Vintage Natural) and a CE-24 ('03 Emerald Green). I sold all 3 at various points to fund other gear purchases, and I regret letting these 3 go more than anything. So, to have an opportunity to right some huge wrongs would be tremendous for me.
