He's still a HUGE influence on my playing!

The best there ever was or will be. His live solo as heard on Tribute is still a clinic in technique, theory, and composition

It's nice to see Randy hasn't been forgotten after 32 years! He and Eddie were the two reasons I started playing guitar and probably are still my biggest inspirations. I plan to jam some Mr. Crowley, Over the Mountain (my daughter's favorite), and Diary of a Madman tonight in his honor!

Wow. 32 years? I remember it like it was yesterday. I was a sophomore in high school and a HUGE Ozzy fan

I hated Black Sabbath but was shocked when I heard Randy and Ozzie and loved what they were doing.

Late to the thread, but big influence for me as well. I never really wanted to ape Eddie's style, but I wanted to do what Randy did.

Was lucky enough to see him on the Diary tour - wish I remembered more, but we ended up moving around a lot trying to find a place where we could see.

I still play the Goodbye To Romance solo almost every time I pick up a guitar.

I can't believe it's been 32 years, either - I still remember sitting on the living room floor and hearing the news. To this day, I'm a sucker for a magazine w/a Randy cover.
