I don't have a playing style unless you consider "freakin' hack" a style.
Have you seen the pre-factory (prior to April 1985) Santana body shape and headstock combo?
Therein lies your answer. The Santana headstock pre-dates what is commonly regarded as the iconic (pointy) PRS headstock shape.
