So, Tag finally learns to spell pomegranate and all of a sudden the PS crew gets the color right.

    Coincidence?

    I think not.

I also think that color looks great (given that I'm looking at a photo on an iPad) and I can see why you wouldn't let it rest. Rock on (or Jazz on), brother!

Glad you got it all sorted out....
It looks like persistence paid off. Simply stunning...
I have kind of lost track. Is this a refin or a rebuild?

Hey everyone, thanks for all the nice words. I have been under the weather a bit, so have not been around much. I did have time to get the guitar to a collectors houde over the weekend, and it not only met, but exceeded every expectation I had, and that was a lot. For me and my style, it easily out performed every other guitar I tried, and that is REALLY saying something. My others have held their own, this one was a clear cut above. Its the closest thing to having a big, full body archtop tone, that can do electric rock and blues, with the biggest, fattest, thickest sound you can imagine. It makes vintage Les pauls and n335s sound wimpy. I could not be happier with the guitar. I can say that if you have a PRS or a PS that you think you are having some problems, but vthe basic sounds are there that you want, dont give up! Between PRS and Paul Miles, they can get it RIGHT where you want it. I am SOOO lucky I did not give up on this one, and I was right on the edge. It ends up being EXACTLY what I had wanted, and hoped it would be, 8 years ago when I ordered my first. The combination of the Thicker semi hollow body with a Brazzy neck and fretboard did just what I had hoped for. It almost sounds like a baritone guitar at time, the tone is so deep. Anyway, here is my first clips. Again, soory for the same backing, but I dont think anyone would want to hear the others I have loaded at the moment! (Misty, Autumn leaves, Billies bounce, There will never be another you, etc) Anyway, excuse the few mistakes, but I think you can hear how great the guitar sounds, and so doeas the amp! Its the twoRock Emerald pro again. What a match! From 2:10 out to the end, i think you can really hear the thicker body thats hollowed out. SOO fine!! Straight into amp, no FX other than the TwoRocks on board Verb.

Thanks again for all the nice words, it is really appreciated, I assure you!

    Tag,

I'm so happy for you. That turned out beautiful and really sings in your hands. You have been through a process but hopefully it is all worth it.

Joining the chorus here - a stunning benchmark of a guitar and really nice tones/playing there.

Are there specific pickups that came with the Artist III (not having much luck searching for those specs) that are also in this PS which might be integral to the tone or are these a more modern set of in-production PRS pickups? I'm always trying to learn more about the various pickup options and which ones are better suited for the various wood and construction choices.

How about the next tone demo be outside in natural light so we can see that axe better? (That's the photographer in me talking.)
