Paul Reed Smith Band to Perform at the 27th Annual Bay Music Festival
The Paul Reed Smith band will perform at 8:30 p.m. at the 4-H Park in Centreville, Maryland on Saturday, June 14 as part of the 27th Annual Bay Music Festival. TheTommy Lepson Band, Tranzfusion and Bird Dog & The Road Kings are also scheduled to perform.
The Paul Reed Smith Band’s multi-talented lineup includes Derek St. Holmes on lead vocals and guitar and Michael Ault on guitar and vocals. Derek St. Holmes, formerly Ted Nugent’s vocalist, is best known for songs “Hey Baby” and “Stranglehold.” Guitarist Michael Ault is best known for his bluesy work with The Mary Ann Redmond Band and regularly contributes to music scores for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Paul Smith has performed with renowned artists such as Vertical Horizon, Creed, Chuck Brown and Carlos Santana.
All concert proceeds benefit Centreville Lion’s Club projects and the Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore. A PRS SE Custom guitar signed by Paul Smith will be raffled at the festival, and all raffle ticket proceeds will benefit the named charities. The Bay Music Festival kicks off at 2:00 p.m. and continues into the late evening. Rain or shine, the show goes on, and children under 12 are admitted free. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the gate.
