Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam Headline Benefit for Cancer Patients at The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center Hosted by Paul Reed Smith
Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam will headline Hopkins’ cancer benefit, One Night One Show One Cause hosted by Paul Reed Smith at the Rams Head Live in Baltimore on Sunday Evening, October 4th. Acclaimed artists Myles Kennedy, Orianthi, Johnny Hiland Band and the Paul Reed Smith Band will also perform.
Over the past nine years, Paul Reed Smith has built a reputation of bringing the best virtuoso talent together for this outstanding concert engagement. This special 10th Anniversary Show promises to continue Smith’s relentless mission of hosting truly inspiring performances, all in support of the Living with Cancer Resource Program at Johns Hopkins.
Since 2000, Paul Reed Smith Guitars has raised over $1M for the Living with Cancer Resource Program at Johns Hopkins. The Living with Cancer Resource Program provides supportive care education to cancer patients and their families at Hopkins – free of charge.
Coming off a summer tour supporting Chickenfoot, blues rock prodigy Davy Knowles will headline Smith’s One Night One Show One Cause. At 22, Knowles, known for his sizzling, quicksilver guitar playing has consistently been likened to Eric Clapton and Duane Allman, www.davyknowles.com.
