PRS: What inspired you to pick up the guitar, and at what age?
JF: My mom was a drummer in bar bands growing up, so I was always around music. So one day I decided to pick up a guitar and try to play in the garage and the rest was history!
PRS: What are you guys up to this year? You’re doing Warped Tour, right?
JF: Touring and touring and new music, but for summer I really can't say yet.....;)
PRS: You have toured with so many awesome bands. If you could tour with any two bands of your choice, who would they be?
JF: Probably would be amazing to tour with like 30 seconds to Mars or U2 something really epic.
PRS: What do you think sets PRS Guitars apart from the rest?
JF: The playability, look and they're just all around incredible. In the scene that I'm in, I feel it separates you as a guitarist. PRS to me are just one of a kind.
PRS: Who are your three biggest influences?
JF: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana.
PRS: If you had to name one song (or record) that changed your life, what would it be?
JF: Anything by Led Zeppelin or Queen.
PRS: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not recording or touring?
JF: My hobby is cooking, all I do when I'm home is cook for my friends then head out for some drinks.
PRS: What advice would you give to all the emerging guitarists out there?
JF: Never give up, follow your dreams. I started touring at 15, people knocked me down forever but I stood my ground and did what I believed in, and I wouldn't change it for the world!
