In 1996 we founded PRS Private Stock, a small team of luthiers determined to craft instruments of the finest caliber. Over that time the Private Stock team has created over 10,000 heirloom quality guitars that have been built with the finest materials and craftsmanship we have.

Enter the Private Stock 30th Anniversary Birds of a Feather Hollowbody I, a limited edition series of only 96 guitars that marries industry-leading craftsmanship and masterful artistic expression.

This model introduces a notable first: PRS TCI pickups in a Hollowbody platform, resulting in a voice that is rich, articulate, and remarkably responsive. Boasting an expansive range thanks to its hollow construction, the Private Stock 30th Anniversary Birds of a Feather also comes equipped with mini-toggle EQ switches – a feature personally favored by Paul Reed Smith.

Visually, this guitar features a luminous Frostbite Glow finish on the flame maple top that extends into the fretboard, where it contrasts with the gaboon ebony portion of the reverse "Birds of a Feather" inlay design – an homage to this design's 10th anniversary. Rounding things out with a special 30th Anniversary headstock eagle and swamp ash body, the Private Stock 30th Anniversary Birds of a Feather Hollowbody I embodies the balance of artistry and restraint that defines Private Stock.
