Last month, Paul Reed Smith, PRS President Jack Higginbotham, and other members from the PRS team visited dealers in Europe for a week long adventure! Below you can see photos from their trip and hear the stories!
Paul kicked off the trip with a visit to Anderton’s Music Co, a top PRS dealer in the UK! While he was there he filmed a video with Lee, also known as “The Captain” for their popular YouTube channel. Check out the video below!
In the same day, Paul headed to another popular UK dealer, PMT Bristol, to meet and greet PRS fans. Paul met with customers, heard stories about their guitars, talked about guitar building and signed guitars and backplates!
Later that evening, Paul and the PRS team went to old converted 15th century convent for an event with another PRS dealer, World Guitars! While Paul was there he discussed guitars and tone with Bernie Marsden & Neville Marten.
The next day Paul made his way to PMT Manchester for a meet and greet. He was interviewed by PMT for their YouTube channel and met with customers while he was there! Check out the video filmed with PMT below!
Next stop was Reidy’s Home of Music, a music store with a rich history (nearly 100 years old)! While he was there, Paul talked to the crowd and signed plenty of guitars!
Next up, Sound Affects Ormskirk! This evening event took place at a cool Salt & Liquor bar where a huge crowd of people attended to hear Paul and PRS artist Bernie Marsden talk guitars and play some blues and rock!
The next morning, Paul visited PMT Leeds! Over 50 people were waiting to meet Paul and hear the story of PRS from the man himself. Plenty of photos were taken with Paul and a wonderful meet and greet overall.
In the afternoon, Paul and team visited Wildwire Guitars, a specialist guitar retailer in the UK. This time 70 folks were waiting to do a Q&A with Paul.
The busy day continued with a trip to PMT Birmingham and later on a trip to another PRS dealer, “Guitar Guitar” - great name! The in-store event included Paul and Bernie Marsden where they both spoke and played guitar. A customer requested “Here I Go Again” and Bernie played a solo performance of it that wowed the crowed.
The next day Paul and the PRS team worked an event at Fanhams Hall where there were hundreds of PRS guitars on display!
On the last day of the UK tour, Paul headed to PMT East London for a meet & greet. PMT East London is PMT’s newest store and has a modern look with a great selection of guitars!
To conclude the UK tour, Peach Guitar hosted a huge event for over 200 PRS fans who were there to talk with Paul about guitar building and hear Bernie Marsden and Paul play through PRS guitars and amps! Paul even pulled out John Mayer’s actual guitar which he used to play live with Dead and Company!
We would like to thank every person who came to see Paul and PRS at these dealer events, as well as thank the dealers for making it happen!
