Two Exhibits, One Incredible Journey: Celebrating 40 Years of PRS

Whether you’re on the West Coast or here on the East Coast, you can experience the PRS story like never before through two remarkable museum exhibitions celebrating our 40th anniversary! Read below to learn more about the exhibits and how you can visit them in person.

Walking into the Museum of Historic Annapolis at 99 Main Street, you’re blocks away from where Paul built his first guitars in a small workshop on West Street. The exhibit titled: “40 Years of PRS Guitars: A Journey of Tone” is a deep dive into our earliest days and the determination that started it all.

The exhibit focuses on our foundational years, through the breakthroughs and pivotal moments that shaped PRS into who we are today. There's not only a guitar on display, but we’ve also included historic materials that bring our early story to life, including photographs from Paul’s first workshop, design sketches, and archive memorabilia.

Every piece tells part of the origin story: the first guitars that caught musicians’ attention, the early design innovations that would become our signatures, and the foundational partnerships that gave us credibility in the industry.

• Admission: $7 for ages 8+, children 7 and under free

• Special Access: Free for active military families

Head west to Carlsbad, California, and you’ll find something extraordinary at NAMM’s Museum of Making Music. “Roots & Wings: 40 Years of PRS Guitars” takes you deep into the world of PRS guitar manufacturing and production, showing how we’ve refined our processes, scaled our operations, and maintained quality while growing into a leading guitar manufacturer.
