Hollowbody II Piezo
Extraordinary Resonance
With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the Hollowbody II has been a constant favorite in our dynamic lineup of hollow instruments. The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance.
The LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System comes standard, providing musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. There are two output jacks on the Hollowbody II, allowing guitarists to plug into their favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the Hollowbody II’s 58/15 LT pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.
For 2020, PRS has updated this model with TCI-tuned pickups and nitro over celluose (CAB) finish.

Accolades
"Want sustain and tone that just keeps going....and going....and going, long enough to make Nigel forget what he started? Look no further than the Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II electric."
- American Songwriter
"CAMILA’s music often goes from soft acoustic guitar arpeggios to power chords and leads, all within the same song. The PRS Hollowbody is my essential tool for achieving those changes in a live situation. I just love the sound of the Piezo and the Humbuckers. I even combine both sounds on some songs and the blend is beautiful. It’s like having two guitars in one. It quickly became my main axe."
