Roman Miroshnichenko Nominated in The 17th Independent Music Awards

Award winning guitarist, band-leader, and producer Roman Miroshnichenko was named by Music Resource Group (MRG) as a nominee in the 17th annual Independent Music Awards, the influential awards program for independent artists and releases. Innovative self-released and indie label projects, in all styles and mediums, were nominated by fans and industry panelists in 103 Album, Song, EP, Music Producer, Music Video, and Design categories that were culled from thousands of submissions worldwide.

Roman's nomination for the Best Instrumental Song Category, "Song For Godfather Of Fusion," is dedicated to one of the greatest guitar players of all time Larry Coryell, with whom Roman toured frequently.

The winning projects were selected by blue-ribbon panels of top recording artists that include: Robert Smith, Tom Waits, Gloria Gaynor, Todd Rundgren, Lee Ann Womack, David Rosenthal, Alan Paul, Nicole Atkins, Paquito D'Rivera, to name a few. Previous IMA Winners and Nominees including: Geroge Benson, Meghan Trainor, Jeff Healey, Larry Carlton, David Sanborn, Paul Wertico, Paquito D'Rivera, Macy Gray, among many others; and influential press and talent buyers from the Americas, Europe and Pacific Rim.

Winners will be announced at Symphony Space Performing Arts Center in New York on June 21st & 22nd
